Premier earth auger extensions include … stock standard extensions from 1 foot to 6 feet in length, fixed-length extensions, variable-length extensions, custom extensions Connecting collars and shafts come in 2-inch round, 2-9/16-inch round, 2-inch hexagon, 2½-inch hexagon, 2-5/8-inch hexagon, 3-inch hexagon, and 4-inch square configurations. Premier extensions work with all kinds of machines, too, including tractors, skid steer loaders, mini excavators, large excavators, and backhoes. We’ve designed our fixed-length extensions to connect to the earth auger drive unit. They typically have a shaft with one hole at the end for the attachment. We stock fixed-length extensions in 1-foot, 2-foot, 3-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot lengths. Our variable-length extensions are high-strength solid bars that have the connecting collar either welded on or pinned on. The shafts of these extensions are drilled in multiple spots up and down the length of the shaft. This allows the extension to slide through the collar and down into the center tube of the auger bit so you can pin the extension at any of the drill-hole spots and achieve the length you need. We stock these in 1-foot, 2-foot, 3-foot, 4-foot, and 6-foot lengths. We also make extensions that have flighting on them to allow for continuous digging. We refer to these as flight-body extensions. We build them on heavy wall tubing and typically pin them together to make one long auger, which is what enables you to pull dirt out of a hole continuously. These extensions tend to require a large amount of torque and are well-suited for use with our two-speed auger systems. Need a custom extension?
