Premier's Ammbusher Cutter Upgrades 01/23/2023For over 30 years Ammbusher has been building hydraulic brush cutter for skid steer loaders. The innovative design of the Ammbusher mowers and brush cutters has been used to clear pastures, fence lines, utility right-of-way and many types of land clearing applications. Currently Premier Attachment manufactures three different series of cutters starting with the standard AM series which is more of a mower and cuts up to 3” sapling trees. Next is the heavy-duty cutters, the AG/AP models, that can cut up to 8” trees and finally, the industrial grade AC units that features ¾” AR400 blades that can cut up to 10” trees. We offer 3 blade or 4 blade carriers with optional integrated carbide teeth. We offer options for both gear motor or piston motor for standard flow or high flow skid steer loaders. Both motors feature an integrated relief system. This relief is designed to protect the motor from hydraulic spikes and to stop the rotation of the blade carrier much faster during shut down. This a key safety feature of the Ammbusher design. The piston motor options are much more efficient and can handle higher flow and pressures. By utilizing the higher flow and pressure from the skid steer loader, we have seen much higher torque output to the shaft as well as quicker torque recovery after a stall. The Ammbusher cutters are designed and manufactured in our Fort Wayne production facility. We have each unit assembled and tested on-site prior to shipment.
