Here’s a quick guide to help you go from dirt to done—smarter and faster. 1. Know Your Ground Conditions Before you even fire up your auger drive, get familiar with the ground you're working in. Different soil types require different levels of aggressiveness in your auger bit. Loose or Sandy Soils Recommended Bit: Standard Dirt Auger Bit (CDF) Tooth Options: Standard dirt teeth and pilot points Why It Works: These soils are easy to drill and don’t require a lot of torque or specialized cutting edges.
